Launch of the new platform genialokal.de which unites Germany's booksellers
Genialokal.de is a joint project of the bookseller alliance eBuch, eBuch GmbH and Libri GmbH and was presented for the first time at the Leipzig book fair in spring 2015. The platform with its new concept of selling and buying books affiliates local bookstores across Germany.
What makes it special is that the affiliated bookstores display their stock in real time. The customer sees immediately which of the booksellers nearby has the desired book on stock. Otherwise it can be ordered for the next day to pick it up in the selected bookshop. Of course, there is also the possibility to order online and have the books or other goods delivered at home.
Genialokal offers more than six million books, ebooks, audiobooks, movies, music and much more.
